Each night before dinner the Master, when present, or the senior Fellow dining, will say Grace in Latin. There are three versions of Grace that may be said, each of differing lengths.

A short history of the Hall
Much of the following is taken from Pembroke College Cambridge A Celebration, edited by A.V. Grimstone.
The hall was originally a single-storied building with a pitched roof. It was small, but adequate for a society that until the 1870s rarely numbered more than a dozen Fellows and forty students. In 1452, the roof was removed and a flat ceiling installed; above it, Laurence Booth built a new library.

Seikei University Easter Course 2010
Seikei University Emblem
Seikei-en, originally a small informal school, was founded in 1906 by Haruji Nakamura. Both the School's name-Seikei,(sei ) meaning to make and (kei ) a path, and it's emblem- the peach , have their origins in the 130-volume work titled Historical Memoirs, written by Si-ma Qian in China some 2,100 years ago. Among the many people and historical events written about in this work is a man of great integrity named General Li, whom Si-ma Qian compares to a peach. Just as the sweetness of peaches attracts people, who create a path to the tree, General Li's virtue attracted people to him.

The Pembroke Fooball Club Dinner
Facebook, The Cambridge Student, Cambridge Evening News, Varsity, the Junior Parlour Website; I’ve tried them all, and I still can't find any information about the Pembroke College Football Club.
