A big hello to all the parents of the Californian summer school students staying at King's College and Pembroke. We are trying our best to feed your kids the most wonderful food that Pembroke has to offer!
Last night was no exception, with a wonderful, exceptional, beautiful three course dinner;-))
We began the feast with an exceptional heirloom tomato and fresh peach salad, perfect for a warm summers evening!
Next up, we prepared London Broil, a marinated flank steak cooked sous vide to medium-rare, and served with Pont Neuf potatoes and brie filled mushrooms, yum!
And if all this was not enough to satisfy the biggest appetite, we finished with white chocolate, banana and peanut bread pudding with honey ice cream, caramelised banana and a banana tuile!!!!
Don't blame us if the kids don't want to come home! ;-))
