  1. I must say that the food quality this term has been particularly good! I am, however, disappointed that when a particularly appetizing vegetarian option is advertised on the menu, it seem to run out, perhaps due to its popularity with non-vegetarians too, and is then replaced by a completely different dish. This happened with the Emperor's Pizza yesterday and the goat's cheese pasty the day before, both of which were replaced by quorn "fillets", which incidentally was served for lunch on Tuesday!

    It is especially a problem for Graduate Students, who tend eat later on in the evening (i.e. after 6.30). I am curious as to whether this is an issue of budget limiting the amount of the dish that can be prepared, or whether the popularity of a dish is simply not forseen beforehand? It would be fantastic if a larger quantity of the vegetarian dishes could be made so that those arriving later on are not disappointed after expecting what is advertised on the menu!
