On Saturday we played host to a special Honourary Fellows day at Pembroke. The culinary highlight of the day was a lunch served on high table. It would be rude to name names, but suffice to say, there were enough Knights present to form a Round Table!
Lunch began with the first sighting of peaches for 2010. Only available since earlier in the week, we wasted no time in taking full advantage of the great 'peach and tomato' pairing.

For the main course we combined the great taste of fresh cod with rich borlotti beans and vanilla.

The earlier trip to the nursery paid off with the lovely rose geranium creme brulee, served with blackcurrant sorbet.
